The City of Atlanta will begin flushing water mains April 10th until further notice.
This will take place at night, using automatic flushing equipment.
This will take place between the hours of midnight and 4am.
We continue to advise using caution while doing laundry, but believe this will decrease any inconvenience to our residents.
A Public Hearing will be held on May 2nd at 7:00p.m. at the North Greens Atlanta City Golf Course, to vacate a portion of Walnut St. and a portion of Maple St. between the railroad right of way and N.E. Arch St. within the City of Atlanta, Illinois.
Atlanta Summer League now taking registration for Summer ball now.
Ages 4 through 12. You can find registration forms on AtlantaIllinois.org under City Services, or at Atlanta City Hall and Olympia South Elementary.

Maximum of 8 roll-off dumpsters will be provided.
Maximum of 2 pick-up truck loads per residence. Each additional will be $25.00 per load.
Enter on the temporary street between Township Shed and the Library off of Arch St.
Exit onto Race Street when leaving. There will be ONE WAY traffic through dump site.
Used car batteries will be accepted.
There will be a charge of $15.00 per piece for electronics, such as TVs, clock radios, CD players, Computers, monitors, printers. This is to help off-set the cost to the City. NO SCRAP OR BROKEN EQUIPMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED.
