Town-Wide Clean Up Day

City of Atlanta & Atlanta Township ONLY

The City of Atlanta has announced May 21 will be the date of Town-Wide Clean Up Day 2022, between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. (noon) at the Library parking lot. Please note, this clean up service is for City of Atlanta and Atlanta Township residents ONLY. ID's are required.

Residents are allowed to bring a maximum of 2 pick-up truck loads per residence. Each additional load will be charged $25 per load. In addition, there will be a $7 charge for each appliance, such as stoves, refrigerators, washers and dryers.

These items will not be accepted:

  • NO ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. (TVs, Computers/monitors, printers etc…)
  • NO COMMERCIAL/CONTRACTERS DUMPING! (shingles, siding, and other building scrap)
  • NO YARD WASTE
  • NO CORN BAGS/ NO SILEAGE BAGS
  • NO HAZARDOUS MATERIALS (Includes paints, oils, antifreeze, insecticides, lawn chemicals etc….)
  • NO TIRES
  • NO BATTERIES
  • NO BURN BARRELS!

To drop off your bulk trash, enter from Arch St. on the temporary street between the Township Shed and the Library. Exit onto Race Street when leaving the Library parking lot. There will be ONE WAY traffic through dump site. The City/Township will fill a maximum of 8 roll-off dumpsters and RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE/REJECT ANY LOAD.
