ATTENTION: New Stop Sign at corner of Vine and South Streets

Citizens of Atlanta, please be aware of a new stop sign that will be installed the week of December 12, 2022, on SE Vine Street where it intersects with E South Street .

Due to a recent increase in the number of accidents at that location, the City will be placing a new stop sign on southeast bound Vine. This will  be a big change, so please be aware and cautious at this intersection. The new traffic sign will give traffic headed west on South Street the right of way as they head into town, by stopping traffic in both directions on Vine Street.

The intersection at Race and Vine will continue to give inbound traffic the right of way with stops signs on South Race and eastbound South street, plus the yield sign currently at SE Race.
