City Council

The Atlanta City Council meets twice a month, on the first and third Tuesdays, at 7:30 p.m. in City Hall.

In compliance with the open meetings act, the council welcomes the public to attend the Council meetings in person.

Public Body’s Purpose (Mission Statement)

  • To provide good government
  • To provide services, facilities or other things that, in the opinion of council, are necessary or desirable for all or part of the municipality and,
  • To develop and maintain a safe and viable community.
