City of Atlanta Christmas Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting

Join us for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, the Sunday following Thanksgiving, kicking off at approximately 5pm in Route 66 Park. The tree will be in front of the red ticket booth inside the park.
The third annual Christmas Parade will begin at approximately 5:15. We are welcoming floats, walkers, politicians, businesses and the like to participate. To sign up, call or text (preferred) Jim at (501) 207-1287 or Katie at (309) 287-0749.
Complimentary cookies and hot chocolate will be available inside the Atlanta Fire Station on Vine Street following the parade. Holiday crafts will be available courtesy of the Atlanta Public Library District.
