Atlanta City & Township Cleanup Day

May 20, 2023, 8 a.m. - Noon

The City of Atlanta and Atlanta Township are teaming up to provide their residents an opportunity to dispose of bulk trash items on Saturday, May 20, between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. (Noon). 

As in the past, drop off will be provided in the City parking lot next to the Atlanta Public Library. Enter on the temporary street between the Township Shed and the Library off of Arch St. and exit onto Race Street when leaving. There will be ONE WAY traffic only through the dump site.

This service is for residents only! An ID will be required. A maximum of 2 pick-up truck loads per residence, please. Each additional truckload will be charged $25.00 per load.
Appliance such as stoves, refrigerators, washers and dryers will be accepted at a charge of $7.00 per item. 

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
  •  ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT Such as TVs, Computers/monitors, printers etc…
  •  COMMERCIAL/CONTRACTERS DUMPING! Such as shingles or siding.
  •  YARD WASTE!
  • CORN BAGS/ NO SILEAGE BAGS!
  •  HAZARDOUS MATERIALS! Such as paints, oils, antifreeze, insecticides, lawn chemicals etc….
  • TIRES/ BATTERIES!
  •  BURN BARRELS!

The City and Township reserve the right to refuse any load.

As a reminder, City residents are provided weekly bulk pick up (such as furniture, mattresses, etc) by Republic on Tuesdays,  if the resident requests the service at least 24 hours in advance by emailing atlantabulk@republicservices.com. White goods (washers and dryers, for example) will be collected for a small fee with advance notification as well.
