CITY OF ATLANTA and ATLANTA TOWNSHIP Town wide CLEAN-UP DAY

The City of Atlanta is once again joining with Atlanta Township to bring in dumpsters for a town-wide clean up day on Saturday, May 11.

This service is provided for Atlanta City and Township residents only -- ID will be required. A maximum of 2 pick-up truck loads per residence will be accepted until the dumpsters are full. Each additional will be $25.00 per load. There will be a fee charged at the rate of $7.00 per appliance such as stoves, refrigerators, washers and dryers.

City staff will be on had to accept your drop-off between 8 a.m. and noon in the city lot between the Library and the railroad tracks. Enter on the temporary street between Township Shed and the Library off of Arch St. Exit onto Race Street when leaving. There will be ONE WAY traffic through dump site.

Please note these restrictions:

• NO ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. (Such as TVs, Computers/monitors, printers etc…)
• NO COMMERCIAL/CONTRACTERS DUMPING! (Such as shingles or siding.)
• NO YARD WASTE!
• NO CORN BAGS/ NO SILEAGE BAGS!
• NO HAZARDOUS MATERIALS! (Such as paints, oils, antifreeze, insecticides, lawn chemicals etc….)
• NO TIRES/ BATTERIES!
• NO BURN BARRELS!

The City/Township reserve the right to refuse/reject any load.
