Recycling Service Begins August 5 and 12, 2022
The City of Atlanta has been divided in to two maps for the purposes of scheduling biweekly recycling. The first recycling pickup date is Friday, August 5, 2022, for residents included in Map 5411 (houses north and east of South St. from I-55 to Vine St. and Vine St. to the west end of the City Limits). The following week, Friday, August 12, the homes included in blue on Map 5412 will have their recycling collected. Recycling pickup will continue to alternate in the same way thereafter, with everyone recycling every other week.

Recycling is optional. Households who wish to participate in the recycling program must contact City Hall to request a container if they haven't already.
